    The economics of college education is still the biggest mystery out there...add overpriced books and it gets ridiculous...

    I don't think it's too big of a mystery. I think there is a pretty direct link between extremely easy access to college/higher education loans/grants and tuition spiraling out of control...but I've also been told that I am a fool for thinking that. So maybe it is a giant mystery.
