Knicks have looked high and low for a backup center and have looked at Earl Barron, Hassan Whiteside and Haddadi. How would you rate his game against those guys and overall.
Cole might never develop into a rotational player, but you can't say it was due to lack of effort. I loved how he busted his ass every second he was on the court for us.
I also saw a guy who put a lot of effort and really tried his best. The only issue is that his "best" seems to be quite crappy.
His biggest highlights were getting on Sportsnations 44 jeers of the month and being made fun of on Bleacher Report for his leg kick celebration (He was their "player with the least amount of swag" lol). He did put everything he had into every second he was on the court, he just isn't that good.
Funny thing to me is that the guys the Knicks are "trying out" to be a training camp invite (Whiteside, Aldrich) were the same guys a good amount of people on CF were extremely angry that the Rockets didn't draft instead of Patterson.
