I think that's an argument you are coming up with yourself. I haven't seen anyone say something dumb like that. Every post I have seen agrees that Melo is better than Ryno, though some may not want him due to concerns about where his Ego and inefficient scoring ability as a previous number one option would fit in for a team that already has Harden and CP3.

What we DO have a lot of and a line of thought I am firmly part of myself is that Ryno for Melo is an upgrade, but Ryno plus Ariza/Gordon/Capela would NOT be one.

Also, Anderson's 20% shooting from home is an aberration IMO. It is definitely a concerning one, but still an aberration nonetheless. When he was on the Pelicans, I recall that he had some good games against us in Toyota Center. If he can figure it out, we would be getting a shooter that is hitting well above 40% at the PF spot.

 

40+ games is not an aberration.
