I've convinced myself that Morey's 'team of analysts' is nothing more than a prophetic Ouija board.

Bucs trailing by one game. Good chance they will be tied tomorrow night.:)

Cavs have the same amount of losses as the Knicks. They inch even closer today.

Yup. Many of us here called it. Many others here are actually rooting for the Knicks, saying "there is no way they don't make the playoffs."

    I'm not rooting for em.

But still it's hard to imagine the Bucks replacing them.

Hopefully the Bucks can get some new energy and hope in there by trading Bogut and wash away any doubt.

Fact of the matter is, they are one game behind New York as it is. They have already played a much tougher schedule. New York's schedule is harder from here one out by far. Tomorrow the Bucs play New Jersey. The Knicks play the Bulls....

We have to find a way to keep Melo and Stoudamire healthy, another injury to them could be disasterous.

Really, hope the Bucs and ... Cavs pull this one out over the Knicks and battle for the 8th seed.

Both the Knicks pick and the Rockets pick are increasing in value!

Don't get your hopes up. McHale can go full Van Gundy when there's 10 games left in the season.

The Rockets look like they have at least the 15th pick secured. Whether that pick jump into the 9-11 range is still to be determined.

And this is bad because? If the Rockets go on a hot streak, they'd be a 4-6 seed in the west. I'm not sure why that would suck so bad compared to keeping the 14th pick of the draft.

LOL I frequent both NYK and Rockets boards and the parallelism is hilarious.

Both teams are in the 8th seed, both teams are on huge losing streaks, and both teams are not likely to make the playoffs if things go the way they're going.

That is why I am in favor of trading Dragic now! With Lowry injured and Dragic out we will have to play Flynn. That should guarantee a better draft pick. That would be a moneyball move. Take the coach's assets away.

Let's face it Dragic is going to get top dollar this off season. I just do not see Morey paying top Dollar for Dragic this offseason but other will so he is gone for nothing. Trading him now helps us get something for nothing and also aids in us tanking. If everything goes well we could end up with 2 picks between 9 and 12. That would make this lousy a bit of an easier pill to swallow. Who knows what could happen with a little ping pong ball luck.

I would also be in favor of making a deal for Bogut to clear our house some more and help the Bucks in the process.

That would be too good to be true. We could potentially jump up 5+ spots with our pick if we traded Dragic, the Bear, and Martin. 2 out of the 3 likely won't even be here next year. Plus if we were able to score Bogut while increasing the value of our picks then I think it's no brainer. Bogut and Jax for Martin and the Bear is a fair deal for all involved IMO. The Bucks would get significantly better with that deal. It's time to wave the white flag on this season with Lowry potentially out a month.

....But I put the chances of Les letting Morey tank at less than 5%. Les just doesn't get it.
