Agreed, but Chinese ownership would bring in additional Chinese revenue regardless of whether or not Qi is here. If someone is actually thinking of spending 2 billion plus just to have rights to own Qi's contract, they're in the wrong business. Other side is that Qi raises the price for some buyers, but not all. Gotta keep doing what's best for the team to get the best price. Trading Qi to get Melo is probably going to be what's best for Houston. Either way, I like the way you think.

Melo Is in a holding pattern because of Kyrie. Once Kyrie sweepstakes are done 100% and Knicks are out of it. I then expect the Melo trade to be done. If any rookie is in the Kyrie deal. They cannot be dealt till next Friday. So Melo, Kyrie 4 way talks could be on pause till then if there was a 4 way in which Melo goes to houston, and Kyrie goes to NY. One possible 4 way I see is Bledsoe to CLE and Ntilikina to PHX. But I feel the suns think an offer straight up to Cleveland for Kyrie would be much better. Once Kyrie is dealt to PHX. Or even if Minny comes with an offer including Wiggins. Then the Knicks will start to move quickly on a deal to move Carmelo Anthony. It's very possible by then, Melo could play a game with Knicks leaving them no trading partners only to buy out carmelo
