It is time! These Houston Rockets cannot win with Yao Ming as the head man. Every good team out there has someone that can step up when the superstar is missing from the team. Houston???? None, that is why I started this thread. We need KG and we will definitely be one of the baddest teams in the league.
In before the lock! Seriously, Yao is averaging 20 and 10 and being mobbed night in and night out since T-Mac has been hurt. Go troll another BBS.
Yao is in a poison pill contract year, which supposedly makes it very difficult to trade him. Especially so for a high salaried guy like KG. So if you're going propose a Yao for KG trade, don't come with this weak knee-jerk whining. Show me a deal that works under the salary cap or STFU.
I love T-Mac but how soon we forget that the Magic team he led lost 19 straight games! He took the brunt of the blame even though he had no help in Orlando. KG is great and puts up awesome numbers every night but how long did it take him to get out of the first round in the playoffs ? (His team didn't even make it in last year) I understand people's frutration with all this losing but Yao gets beat up and double teamed every night and the guys around him are just not hitting their shots and helping him out ( And I haven't even gone into the ref situation) Who else is putting up comparable numbers on the team ?
People cannot think logically, should be banned for posting for 24 hours If Yao is as good as KG, or even close to it, Rockets wouldn't do the trade, I guess you wouldn't start the thread. If Yao is not nearly as good as KG, Wolves wouldn't do it, and Rockets wouldn't propose it, and of course you shouldn't have started it. There are players traded below their worth, but those are incidents where serious chemistry problem existed. The Minisota city love KG, and the Houston rocekts management and the city love Yao Ming. Any more questions? Now, can we stop these kind of trading ideas for a while? Thanks in advance.
Seriously, this dude needs to think alot more cohesivly before throwing out this fantasy trade ideas. heck i love to get Duncan, but is it possible?
T-Mac for KG is more of a balanced trade, because it's a superstar for a superstar (assuming both are healthy that is, of course). However, the only reason the T-Wolves would ever consider doing this trade is because of Yao's marketability, not because of his basketball skills, because he's not in the same league as KG (skills-wise that is as a player). Seriously, stop proposing dumb trades, we have Yao and he will retire as a Rocket, and that much I am more sure about than McGrady retiring as a Rocket; you can bet your life that Les would never consider such a trade.
KG is averaging 21 pts, 10 rebs this season. Yao is already averaging close to that. What makes you think that KG will do better than Yao with the same Rocket supporting cast?
