and MDA was just as classy when he left the Knicks, with probably just as much behind-the-scenes drama as the McHale/Harden Rockets. what a mess

MDA is a player’s coach and McHale a guy stuck in the past who never seemed to understand much about coaching and running a team.

Well, sometimes the truth hurts. EVERYONE knows Harden doesn't bring it on the defensive end. It's not a secret and it really can't be denied. Harden doesn't like playing defense. It is what it is.

This definitely makes it difficult for Harden to be a great leader. I'm not saying he isn't an amazing player on offense, because he is. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve to be first team NBA, because he does. He is a great player, but just not a great player in every way. Not as great a player as he could be.

Some of the best leaders in the history of the world were not good basketball players. This makes me think the two are not correlated.

While I can't support this post because of inconspicuous disrespect toward James Harden, Well done, sir.. Well done.

I think what bothers me is that Harden is a generational talent one of the top 50 players of all time if not higher when he hangs it up. A sure first ballot HOF inductee.

He's closer to kobe Bryant and Dwayne wade than Vince Carter but most casual NBA fan and media would rate Vince carter as a better player which is laughable.

Harden worst year in houston is better than Vince Carter best year in the NBA.

I don't think ppl understand that avg 25/5/5 is the ultimate standard for being a franchise star in terms of numbers. Harden has done those numbers or better the last 5 years, the season he had last year is one of the best offensive seasons ever. He consistently has a true shooting % over 60.

What's messed up is if harden played for the lakers we would be hearing how he's the best player in the NBA and he's a two way force.

That's why media is stupid even Tim legler who works for espn said just last week that a lot of media have bias towards certain players and it effects there judgment in voting for allstar allnba and MVP.

McHale will probably never coach in the nba again because of what he said and he's actually a good coach. It was just the terrible team chemistry here that ruined the job for him.

Ah yes. The clap*clap offense and the try-harder defense.
    Those were the days.

The more you hear them talk the more you can see their confirmation bias play out in real time. A lot of the podcasters have to put out so much content some of them have realized during episodes that they are completely biased.

no player is perfect and harden is solid on defense...8 def rbs per game 2 steals per game guarding huge guys sucessfully in the post, yes he has lapses but no player is perfect

    It was Khloe.

Not sure why he is making his comments because I agree it could cost him a job

I guess he doesn't want to coach anymore
