kent's contract

    it is a 1 year deal, right? someone was telling me its a 4 year deal. also, does anyone know how much longer kent is thinking about playing ball?

    i heard it was a 2 year 18.5 million deal right when he signed...did he re do his contract?

    The team has a $9 million option for the 2005 season with a $700,000 buyout.

    Big difference.

    Kent signed a 2 year deal with a team option for year 3.

    That gives the astro s flexibility in deciding to keep him or not down the road with him being 35 already.

    hey i am just mainly concerned because i was offered kent and schilling for soriano in my keeper league. if kent is gonna play for awhile longer then i might do it.
