I lost respect for #30 when he didn't show up for Clutch City 20 years, or some sort of anniversary that even Otis Thorpe showed up (and he doesn't like to do publicity).

Well said. Ernie doesn’t count. He’s the nice straight man for that looney little coterie of madness.

You can't be a traitor if you never bled Rockets red. Did I appreciate his time here and his hot shooting night in 1995? Absolutely. But he's not one I would think of as being a true Rocket.

To be fair, Kenny was the only one on the panel to pick the Rockets to win the series in 7 before the series started. But you knew he would panic the moment the Rockets were in trouble because deep down inside he is a chump.

    Dont sleep on Ernie.

He used to be good but having spent all these years beside other morons, he has become rotten as well.

Ex Maverick Jason Terry is more respected on these forums, classic.

Kenny is still smarting from being benched for rookie Sammy Big Balls.

    Which we did. Again.

Appreciate the advice, but I have someone else to sleep on, or under, or sideways. ;-)

I am not going to bag on Kenny for picking them tonight you would have thought the Warriors would have came out with a purpose because they know a long series with their short bench is going to catch up to them eventually. Rockets just had other ideas and we need to play our best game in Oakland because you know they are going to be playing balls to the wall.

Kenny should have picked the Rockets to win because we are the better team, despite all the All-Stars, MVPs and DPOYs.

If the refs hadn't stolen our WCF series win last year, Golden State would be fighting a lot harder this time around because they'd be trying to get their title back.

Lol if you read his body language and in between the lines he is rooting for the rox. I think he’s so cautious to not seem biased so he goes into contrary mode. Leave Kenny alone he’s still a rocket for life.

I will always support the Kenny “is that a jet?” Smith when he was on the Rockets. This is an entirely different Kenny Smith we’re talking about here. TV Kenny.

Man after what we saw early in the series

Game 2 we got totally outplayed and worked only reason it was close was because we shot it at a stupidly good percentage.

Game 3 we played better than them but somehow they got it to OT.

    That doesn't command confidence.

Plus a lot of the things I relied upon
House being our Ariza replacement and marking Durant was a fail.
Capela being a factor in the boards was a fail.
Meanwhile Shumpert couldn't hit anything game 1 and 2. But I thought he played well otherwise.

I'm glad DAntoni has found the rotations that are working. But let's be honest where you were expecting Rivers and Shump to step up in a big way?

Note: Also you were expecting 2017-18 CP3 back he's yet to turn up.
    Still a useful player though.

Kenny is and always has been a wannabe on TNT. He's the dude that fans of the show go, "who he play for?", and its understandable as he's sitting next to 2 Hall of Fame players. As a result, he's always trying to fit in and say the right thing for popularity. The dude has zero sense of loyalty to his former team or teammates (aside from North Carolina) and will ALWAYS be a wannabe.

That is why he was the first player dumped. We chose not to resign him and replaced him with Maloney.
