Never happen. They won’t even address it publicly. For one thing, his trade value would plummet, which is probably not that great anyway. If they were determined, they could probably get his contract voided. We don’t know that it’s truly him, but if it is it will be swept under the rug and our Championship run with FVV and KD will march on.

You’re right that publicly they will try to minimize, but KD’s time in Houston is effectively over.

He’ll still play out the season I’m sure. Team suspension is unlikely. But that’s it. KD being in Houston is untenable past the next transaction window.
