Spurs will not hold the 3 seed. Most likey will be the 4th seed IMO. Id say 5th seed if okc could ever get consistent but I dont trust OKC.
Karma bro. For Bowen taking out Francis and Girlnobi taking out Arron Brooks. Sad it happend to kwabi and not one of those punks.
How's LMA's durability? He's gonna have to burn a lot of fuel in the reg season, hope he's gassed come playoffs...
Spurs have the hardest remaining schedule out of all remaining teams. Kawhi, manu, gay all out currently. We might see a free fall
Or more likely , because they have the best coach of all time , they will continue to play solid ball and not drop that much in the standings.
If I had to bet, id say they finish 4th seed. What say you? Also pop is very overrated IMO. He’s an amazing coach but his legacy is attached to duncans. He hasnt done anymore than dantoni or plenty of other coaches without tim duncan.
Duncan is a great player no doubt , but he wasn't even a top 20 player when they won their last ring and he was 37 years old. Pop has a history of getting the best out of his players. How many players have left the Spurs and become better players ? He was the GM before he was the coach and he put together great talent . The Spurs organization is no doubt the class of the NBA and the majority of that has to do with POP . Furthermore , I feel like the level of coaching in general has fallen off as the NBA game is changing and pressure is on to adapt. So , pop stands at the top even more
Wish he was playing and we played them and beat them in the playoffs. Need to overcome the challenge of the second best team in the west to have a chance to beat the best team. Now we will laze our way to the end of the year and get bounced easily by GSW.
I'd take pop over most any coach of all time, despite the fact that Duncan is the 6th greatest player of all time. Without Kawhi, the spurs would drop an estimated 11-14 games over 82 games in the standings, Pop is great at getting an injured team to beat up on scrubby teams, where many other injured teams get smacked around by lotto squads. However, don't expect any wins over top competition without Leonard. I fear there is a real chance that Zaza's cheap shot might have ended Leonards career as we know it. **** him and the Warriors, nothing but a team of weak minded beta b****es and bullies who need the modern day Kermit Washington to bail them out of any trouble.
Isnt his chronic quad issue unrelated to zaza spraining kawhis ankle? I thought kawhi has had qud issue pop up for years and now its gotten way worse.
Man I HATE injuries. Hope he returns healthy, looking forward to beat them with him on court, two things that didn't happen last playoffs
Like I said before, Kawhi is just too fragile to be one of the best players in the league. He is so injury prone now when he is in his prime what happens to him when he reaches his 30s lol
he's still top 3 in WS/48 for the last few years, and finished higher than Harden twice in the last 4.
