Did anyone also noticed? i have seen many announcers basically dick ride a player, but JVG took it to the next level during this okc vs Rockets game with his man crush. I'm surprised there isn't a thread about this. He was Saying some pretty homoish comments on live national tv probably in jest. Just thought it was pretty funny. I think the cpr comment was what made me laugh my ass off.

Yea it was pretty funny that JVG started out the broadcast with the angle against the 3 point call James gets from the defense reaching in on him only to go full MVP campaign for 13 the rest of the broadcast.

What did he say exactly? Can't blame him though. Any decent, sane coach would be the same. - Invincible (hardly ever misses games) - Gets everyone involved - Can do whatever you want him to (pass, score, control the game etc) - No drama on or off the court - Shows leadership, all the players follow his lead - Perennial MVP-caliber player He's a coach's wet dream.
idk if you've followed this nba season at all but in case you don't know russell westbrook is averaging a triple double. we never thought that it'd be possible to do that in today's nba. today's nba isn't like oscar robertsons nba that had extra possessions. He also gave fans tips where to meet Harden. Harden goes to Rice games now, since his HS coach is not head coach at Rice. That's a tiny stadium, so little way for him to avoid bumping into fans. I once stood in the popcorn line behind JVG, but chose not to bother him, since he was with his daughter. JVG goes to games frequently.
Harden stopped playing defense on one play and started roaming in the lane. JVG made it a point to say that Harden didn't have to play defense because they didn't have three point shooters for Harden to play defense on.
