    Good post. A leader doesn't have to be vocal. A vocal leader on a team doesn't have to be the best player. (Heck, the most vocal leader on every team - the coach - doesn't even play.) It takes a certain personality to be a vocal leader. And you have to be respected (not necessarily talented) person. Many great players aren't vocal leaders. Basketball talent and personality don't always correlate.

    Well I stand corrected on Howard being a vocal leader. Not being in Houston I never get to see the Rockets huddles.

    It will be interesting to see him barking at Ricky Davis in the T-Wolves huddle.

    if you watch the video that clutch posted you can see for yourself on how vocal he was. i think he was/is a pretty decent PF but he's not the right one for this team. we have the entire off season to find a 4 hopefully we get a good one.
