Obviously this was an urgent matter, Private jet to H-town no less. He brings back the energy of last season! And comes at a discount with no loss to current players. Welcome back J-Smoove! Players seemed glad to have you back. No looking at the past, let's move forward and PURSUIT!
really... ESPN Fantasy news is typically wrong -- Spin: Smith was traded from the Clippers to the Rockets early Friday morning, but won't be available to play for the Rockets in Friday night's game against the Bucks. At the earliest, Smith could be available to play on Sunday, although it's seems likely that his best chance to make his 2015-16 debut with the Rockets will be Monday versus the Pelicans.
By bringing back a player that sparked our team last year all the way to the WCF? I could see your point if we'd given up anything of value to acquire JS, but they basically gave him to us for a bag of chips, and are paying his salary for the year. IMO, this is the kind of move that gets you a raise.
Smoove did great but let's remember last night was 1 game. The Rockets have great games like that ever so often, while I hope Smith turns this season around for us I'm not going to rely on it or make that assumption based off of one game back, let's give it a couple of weeks.
He means its a a desperate move. imagine how morey will look if it doesn't work out. gm's get fired over poor desperate moves, he's right.
The is a great post everyone just needs to chill -- he's not going to play like he did last night every game this season.
Daryl knows how to treat Josh right - that's why he calls him in the middle of the night. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/FHnNIoNUZig" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Desperate move? Not really. We didn't really give up anything in trade. I think it's a no brainier. I think you can make the argument that firing McHale after eleven games was a desperate move.
