The Angles had the second lowest TV ratings last year, right behind the 'Stros. LOL at this signing.

It's reality television that doesn't have you skipping through commercials, because those who want to watch want to watch it live. That means a lot to advertisers who are concerned they're spending money to have their ads next to Modern Family only to find that 30% of the viewers are skipping right through the commercials because they're watching it on DVR.

I'm surprised he got 5 years from anyone. I'm not convinced he's going to stay healthy or won't flake out again.

Last year I thought the Angels would run away with the West. They finished 3rd. We'll see what happens this year. With the loss of Napoli and the production from Hamilton, I feel like the Rangers have taken a real step down. Mike Olt had better be a stud if they want to hold on to their place in that division.

Don't forget Trumbo, who was amazing for 1.5 of the last 2 years.

    And Kendrys Morales.

That is 5 regulars capable of over 30 HRs.

Only 15 guys in the enitre AL hit 30 HRs last year.

    Hamilton
    Trumbo
    Pujols
    Trout

    are 4 of them.

Can not say how much I like this dude already, and he's never thrown a pitch at the major league level! :)

I don't think you will like him unless he matures some... not the most stable or mature guy.

Looks like a few Rangers "fans" took exception to those comments.

Too late. Already like him. He had me when he started calling the Cowboys "Texas' JV team." Sounds like something I'd say, stability and maturity be damned! :)

    Darvish?

Will be interesting to see if that holds up. It usually doesn't for imported pitchers after the league gets into him for a year.

He's talking about the Angels and Jared Weaver.

They also have CJ Wilson and Tommy Hanson.

I, for one, can't wait to see the Rangers go back to being a mediocre team. There is no reason they can be upset with losing Josh the way they went about trying to re-sign him. They basically invited him to take another offer. They could have locked him up if they really wanted to. But, they were willing to sit back and see what the market did. I just don't think they really wanted him back regardless of what they say. They gave him every opportunity to leave...and he did.

I hope the loss of some of their key players results in an average team. Maybe the Astros can win a few against them this upcoming season? We usually only won like one game out of six against them...or max two.
