I know it was brought up on the game day thread but I felt this deserved it's own thread. As someone who works in the medical field, it was a sight to see this. Much respect for him. http://deadspin.com/john-wall-collapses-in-tears-after-emotional-post-game-1668582392
Always liked him and always hated Cowherd so that's always made me like him even more. Good for him for caring so much. Athletes/celebs who are sincere in helping those who are down can make a big difference.
Man, that was heartbreaking and tough to watch. Wa11 has always been a genuine dude, but I now have a newfound respect for him. Thoughts and prayers go out to that tiny angel, Miyah, and her family during this exceedingly difficult time.
That was really touching to see how deeply John bonded with that little girl. You hear so much about how devastating these terminal illness are for people, but it really puts it in a center stage frame when someone you've shared an honest moment with (even just once) ceases to be. Was heatbreaking/heartwarming at the same time. Spoiler I really, really despise Gawker media. Is there another outlet that has this story covered so I can send it to my uncle? He's out of the country and a huge Wizards fan and would probably like to see this.
