He makes the right and obvious conclusions in my opinion. Wall is a better fit than Westbrook, but his health is everything, because he needs to operate in transition and not half court. The pick is so protected it hardly matters. The team has gone lateral to or marginally better than the last two seasons. We could see Harden finally pull the plug if things don't start well. Beal complements Russ game well because he is adaptable and can play off ball. Russ gets to play a more traditional PG position and be a Rondo, which he should. A shooter and finisher, he is not.

Russ as a traditional PG role is where i do not see him excelling. Westbrook has tunnel vision not court vision.
That's another reason why he has been absolutely useless when Harden gets swarmed. That's why I want Eric Gordon gone too. Boogie Christian Woods and Wall are great directions into where we need to go to help James out.
The 2017 2018 team was so deadly because everyone knew how to move that ball around to the right player for the proper 3. That 50 pt quarter against the Wolves didn't just come because we got lucky. That is why Ariza was and is still also missed. Tucker Paul Harden Ariza all got the ball to the open man properly with just an extra pass.
Right now i see 4 guys that could easily erupt for 20 pts depending on matchup. The two main focal points of the offense will not be James and Wall. It will be Woods and Harden.

I generally agree but that's what Russ claims that he wants. Lol

If Russ was really that great as a passer and creator for other players then Durant wouldn't have bounced. Oladipo wouldn't have excelled after he left and most importantly when Harden was still with the Thunder, Harden was the one in charge of distributing the ball. People are knocking on Houston. Wait until they remember John Wall's passing ability!

That is exactly why I am counting on this team destroying other teams. We finally have some passers on this team and actually another elite passer. Not this [IMG]

Their MO would be going after talents that have been majorly injured vs waiting for a future injury.

Russell is an underrated passer, Wall is flashier when passing, Russ is flashier while slashing.

This is one of the few internet videos were they say why Wall could be a better fit for the Rockets. A lot of dunking on the trade on the internet. Also bballbreakdown kind of hates Russ.

The big question is how will Wall and Gordon co-exist in the court or when wall gets to play 4 in on 3 against lebron and Davis when Harden gets trapped at half court by a double. We all know an offense with Harden getting the ball at his spots is efficient.
