    Currently...

Does anyone think he retires as a 76'er and plays all his years there? Or he goes somewhere else?

    P.S: I still can't believe Embiid scored 70.

Displaced flap sounds more like an Anthony Davis injury than Embiid.

The door isn’t closed on an Embiid return this season, sources tell ESPN, but there will be a clearer idea on a timeline once the procedure is complete this week.

Didn't he need a certain amount of played games to be eligible for the MVP count.....

And people wonder why James wanted to bail again. For all his greatness I do not think Embiid had a single healthy postseason. Though it is not like Kawhi or PG are great at being healthy either.

That pissed me off so much. Jokic was in a different league and proved it in the playoffs. But of course the american media got cucked (by non other by Kendrick ****ing Perkins) into stealing the MVP trophy from Jokic.

This was already known before Harden went to the Brooklyn Nets........

Why did he force a trade to Daryl Morey then who was going to lie to him......hahaha bad decision after bad decision.

I think he does. Unless he just keeps chugging long after his prime.
I think he maybe in the league 3~5 more years as an effective player
IF he goes longer they made trade him like Patrick Ewing or even Hakeem

MVP is a regular season award, although it was probably voter fatigue

What had Jokic done in the playoffs the years he won MVP?

I hope SGA wins it this year. It will be him or Jokic unless something crazy happens.

Larry Bird is the last to win 3 straight. They will do their best to make sure it doesn't happen again (and tbh, I'm not sure they'd have like the look of it being another white guy).

Embiid's knees are going to be a creaking, arthritic mess when he retires.

Jokic was favored to win by the majority of talking heads. Until Perkins brought race into question. All of a sudden, Embiid became the favorite over night and the media just ran with that narrative. And come playoff time, we saw who was clearly better that year.

It had nothing to do with talking heads, you are just making stuff up now. Jokic was at a slight favorite to win as late as March 2023. However he kinda stopped competing for that award to nurse his calf injury, he missed a couple of games and then lost to the Rockets of all teams which kinda gave bad impression finishing the season.

Embiid on the other hand played finished the season really strong marked by a W over the Celtics scoring 50 points.

It was a close race throughout, but Jokic decided it wasn't worth risking his health to play the last couple of games, so he essentially just punted the MVP to Embiid. I don't think Jokic cared too much about it

I think Jokic flat out said that he didn't care about the MVP award. He was coasting after the Nuggets secured the seeding.
