Welcome back, he was so unexpectedly fantastic in the playoffs, especially ALCS Game 2.

Welcome back Mr. and Mrs. Allie LaForce!

2 years and 8 million. That's a solid deal for Astros.

Good for our 6th/7th inning and situational guy.

Great deal for both parties. Situational reliever that gives the batter a different look. Now let’s get a lefty in the pen this year please.

Joe Smith was a beast in the playoffs. Hopefully Harris returns as well.

Blake Taylor will get a shot at making the team in spring training. He came over in the Marisnick trade and is a lefty.

Had pretty good WAR for missing a lot of the season. Probably top 10 in the reliever free agent class.

If we have one it will be because he is one of the best 8 relief pitchers we have, not because he is left handed. Especially with the 3 batter rule going into effect, left hand specialists are going to be mainly a thing of the past

Good point, I forgot about the three batter rule coming.

I agree, can't complain about this at all.

8/2 is a lot less than his last contract, and frankly, less than I think he could have received elsewhere. Guess he likes it here. Very good job by Luhnow to get this done at this amount.

And just in case, a possible point guard...
