My mom is retiring. She'll get bored. What are some low stress, part-time jobs that don't require many skills? She can speak Spanish.
In all seriousness, she should work at Enterprise Rent A Car as a driver. All you do is pick people up and drop them off.
Lulzy answers. Sometimes school crossing guards die. And kids are dicks these days, so no. Is Dillards fun to older folk? Seems boring as hell to me.
I'm telling you work from home with amazon and their mechanical turk might be way to go. It's true work from home. I wonder if there is some IT type stuff she could do from jobs on scriptlance odesk etc.
Lulzy? You have room to talk! FYI, everybody dies hommie, it actually starts from the day of conception... ....... ....... .......
I tried that mechanical turk stuff for a couple days. Boring as hell. Repetitive tasks that average out to like 50 cents an hour.
Ross Dress for Less? Kohl's? Stein Mart? Work as an aide in an elementary school? I dunno. Why not just travel and volunteer in her spare time instead of getting back into the workplace? She retired for a reason, I'm guessing.
I was scanning through the thread titles quickly and at first glance I thought it said "Jobs for r****ded People?"
She could work in a hospital as a phone operator or work as a bilingual spanish translator in the hospital.
she could work breakfast at a hotel..basically you just serve the continental breakfast and mingle with folks...some hotels have an evening reception that does the same thing...
