Greatest Texan of all time IMO and you could argue, he`s the greatest athlete to come out of Htown but that's for another time..............You da man JJ and I DO expect the ring of honor on the first home game and as shark44 said I would love to see him on the staff in some capacity, you cant teach the positivity he has or the work ethic, he`s a freak and he would be good for the CULTURE. Special Assistant or something

Folks like to brush over the fact that the man quit on our team to go ring chasing. Don't really blame him since our org is still a sht one that waste the career of many great players.

I don't consider watt to b the best Texan for me that's Andre Johnson. He is one of the greats alongside foster and Andre Johnson.

Quite sad that he never even had the opportunity to play In the superbowl

Wasted Career by the Texans HOF:

    JJ Watt
    Andre Johnson
    Arian Foster
    DeAndre Hopkins
Duane Brown? (I can't think of another OL, which is both sad and hilarious)

:rolleyes::rolleyes: Literally no one says that about Watt.

With everything JJ gave to Houston both on the field and off, the last thing a Texans fan would do, is to say Watt quit on this team.

Kind of felt like he was getting ready to check out when he met Kealia

Great career. Headed off in the sunset with a new family.

Most players don’t make it to a Super Bowl. Many players never make playoffs. Many many players never advance in playoffs. So I guess most nfl players’ careers are “wasted?”

I’m curious if anyone has done the math. The percentage of players who go entire career without making playoffs, without advancing, without making super bowl.

Of course he does, and in my book he`s the number 1 athlete from Houston based on the hardware and the accolades that went with them. But I am sure some would make the case its JJ and while I don't agree it's a fun conversation..........hell, for the small sample size Justin V was awesome but not enough time in Houston and wasn't drafted by the team. My top 2 have to be Dream at 1 and 1a is JJ............A Johnson and D Hop who I love would be my 2 and 2a. But this is about JJ so here`s to you big fella
