I am a Panther fan. In honor of our game this week here is a little article on your fireplug of a kick returner written by the chaplain for the Saints.

    J. J. Moses, who stands just five-six and weighs just 180 pounds, finds himself in a modern-day version of the battle between David and Goliath every time he steps onto the football field.

I was one of the few who didn't want to see Capers fired at Carolina. I think he got a bum deal. Ironically our team now looks a lot like Capers '96 Panther team that went to the NFC Championship game. Ball control defense oriented. He learned his lesson at QB too going out and getting a character guy in David Carr rather than a drunk like Kerry Collins. That quitter cost him his job at Carolina as much as anything.

    Good luck on Sunday.

I like J.J. He would have saved our game against the Jets if the offense could have picked up 30 yards.:(

I liked JJ in the preseason but it seems that he runs backwards a little too much in the regular season. It might just be me, but he doesn't seem to be completely comfortable returning kicks yet, hence all the fair catches (I've only watched 2 games so far so if I'm wrong, I'm sorry.)

I guess when you are 5'6 you will need to run a little east west because you aren't going to break many tackles. One of my favorite NBA players was Mugsey Boags(sp) who played for Wake Forest and the Hornets. Love to see the little guys make it.
