All of those players are 1st or second options on their teams and run the offense. Lin doesn't do this. Compare him to the Mario Chalmers of the league. You cant take a player who's usage rate is considerably lower than theirs, not to mention his role in the offense is completely different and expect them to put up the same type of numbers. Lin is a solid starter who has little experience, that's about it.

Right on. Chalmers just looks beat up on that team in terms of stats, because of the system. I bet Lin and Chalmers could easily post up around 20 ppg and 6+ apg on team where the PG is the first or second option.
