There's only 1 thing lacking in Jeremy Lin's game right now, and it's confidence. I may be stating the obvious, but watching him play for New York last year and now for the Rockets, he was having a lot more fun last season. He's feeling the weight of that $25 million contract. There's nothing wrong with his jumper, and he's no scrub, contrary to what many of the posters are thinking of him right now. Once he starts playing for the love of the game again, and not to try to please his new fanbase, everything else will fall into place.

Well said. It's going to take one game, one game in which he goes 7 for 9 or 11 for 15 to snap him out of it. In the meantime, he's doing everything he can to facilitate others scoring.

He needs to stop making dumb descisions and attack the basket instead forcing passes that are not there.

Swag equals buckets? Count me in! How would you suggest he get some swag? I think Lin might have to Pull a Harden to regain some confidence.

Lin has shot less than 40% from the field in 8 of 10 games this season.

I'm not sure even Rafer Alston had a streak of bad shooting like this.

His passes was good. Many were wide open jumpers for patterson which he clanked like 3 in a row. The high risk passes at the end of the game was awesome. He made tons of those last year and they were very effective. Those are aggressive passes and I like them. He should stop worrying about making mistakes and continue to pass like that. Unfortunately, he doesn't have good hands like tyson chandler to make those passes to this year. Asik as good as he is on defense, is hurting Harden and Lin with his stone hands and inability to finish.

Yup. He needs to "straighten" his shot up and "put it in the hole"

Lakers played the perfect game...and exposed all Houston coaching staff mistakes...

1 - Why only against on Houston games, others players had career-highs (Kobe, Aldrigde, Batum, Damian, Lebron ... etc)?
==> answer:we just play one by one defense, NO double guards when some player is hot, or other defensive strategy, our defense to 3-points shot is zero...

2 - We dont have ANY play to run? ==>
answer: NO, our offense is just pass, pass, pass, when anybody is open so shot...

3 - Why to play the starters so much massive minutes?
==> answer: because we dont use ALL the bench, TJones was awesome tonight, why we never used him before? (except on the detroit game).

4 - Why our rotation IS SO POOR?
==> answers: so our strategy to rest our starters is take off everybody at 5minutes of 2ndQ? and at 5minutes of the 3rdQ? and play just the bench? In all the games? its so easy the others team draw a defensive and offensive set this way...

5 - in all last seconds quarters,we need call a time out and execute ANY play to practice for clutch games...

And much more, im tired to type so much.

Sorry COACHING STAFF , but ALL YOU FAIL BIG.

If he can't put it in such a big hoop those smaller holes will be much more troublesome I think.

Alot of elite point guards can't shoot the 3 like parker and rondo. Yet, they are elite. Move Lin for a mid range shot and he's good to go.

Disheartening. Rockets went from one Skip to another Skip. This one's more expensive though.

He only forced 2 passes, both one after the other, but dished out 10 assists which you obviously ignored. His passing is not the problem.

I didn't watch this game. Was Jeremy still camping out at the 3 point line as per coaches' instructions, or did he get opportunities to attack the rim and pick and rolls?

Every time Lin drives in, something good usually happens. He doesn't even need to take the shot. Somebody is usually open after that. Should do that all damn game.

That was a dumb criticism. His passing is good - 10 assists and only 3 TO. If u want to criticize him at least criticize what he's having a problem with - his SHOOTING. God what idiots.
