Kagy, I personally do not take nay pleasure in all of this, but the girl is either stupid or has some other kind of issues. Isn't this the third time since her dad has been president that she has had trouble with the law? Does she not realize that she is a kind of recognizeable celebrity? Certainly one that could not pass for "Brenda Smith" in Austin, TX. Going to a place like Chuys, a big restaurant chain, is not the place to try someone else's ID. Yeah, I drank when I was underage, I got an MIP as a freshman in Highschool...but by college, I was smart enough to know how not to get caught (didn't hurt that I had burned out with the whole partying/drinking crap). Well, there was one time when the campus police cuffed me and everything for being underage and intoxicated. Problem was I was neither underage, nor had I been drinking. Anyway, I also never had to deal with being recognizeable...making things more complicated. You're right, Achebe. It's funny that President Bush's two daughters got in trouble with the cops. I'm sorry I didn't see the humor in that. I'm also sorry I didn't see the humor in calling Jenna Bush "r****ded". Or calling the Bush family "a joke". I guess I am just not with it anymore.
But did they get in serious trouble? I thought it was funny b/c "hardee har har" that girl was just down this road last month.
