    Part of me thought so. However, internet sarcasm is about as detectable as natural gas leaks without mercaptan. Either way, dementia has already set in. ;)

    All the money.

    But seriously I don't know. But I suspect that building land masses in the gulf large enough to have serious impact would not only be insanely expensive and an engineering nightmare, but also would have major environmental/ecological effects.

    Better off spending that money on improving our water drainage infrastructure.
