Jeff Balke hits 3000. As the 1st member of the CC.net 3000 club, Jeff has set a high benchmark for posters and Admins alike. Jeff’s surge this past summer has been directly attributed to the Save Our Rockets movement, and the off-the-wall discussions in the Hangout. When asked Jeff said, “Well I’m glad to have beaten everyone to this mark, including BobFinn*. Man, you know how many useless posts he has? Its like Mark McGwire on Andro. 3000 is going to have no meaning by the time he gets it.” Jeff didn’t stop after that, “Look at who’s on my tail: B-Finn, heypartner, & thacabbage. Only thacabbage came before the inflated post era. This is ridiculous. I don’t want my record tainted because of the other two.” However, one would be remiss in celebrating to forget the old BBS. Almu held the posting record in the old BBS. However, after the changeover he started to fade away. Plus, he couldn’t keep up with this current inflated post era. On a serious note, Jeff has reached this magical mark because of his work on SOR. His continual updating and educating of people on the arena issue is to be commended. Hopefully, his hard work will be rewarded when on the Referendum is passed come November. The next to 3G's are most likely heypartner, thacabbage, BobFinn*, and Francis3. These guys have the balls and longevity to go for the magical 3000.
