He's sort of like Tony Dungy in that respect.

I would rather have Dierker. At least it isn't Shane Reynolds. Jeff Kent would be hilarious as a commentator.

He has the voice for it. Bagwell? No.

Bagwell's commentary is fine because he only does it for a small number of games in the season. It's a nice brief change of pace from the normal crew.

However, I would get tired of him quick if he was an everyday commentator.

Imagine 162 games of talking about yourself quite a bit.

I guess I’m in the minority, but I like his voice. It’s soothing to me and he has some good insights.

Yeah, I like his voice although he is a soft talker. I will never talk crap about anyone's voice after hearing recordings of mine in meetings/training sessions.

Awfully good at baseball. Awful at baseball in the booth. He could try to use his left arm more in there.

They need to bring in Josh Reddick to the booth to do some games.....

That's how I feel about my voice....when I hear my narrating/commentating in home videos. :D

He has zero personality, enthusiasm and a terrible voice on top of that he’s a huge *******. I miss Blummer.

I would love to have Carl Everett, Danny Darwin, Larry Dierker after a few cocktails or Chuckie Carr.

Jurassic Carl or C-Rex, Dr. Death of Bonham Bullet, Milo called him Wrangler and at the end of his playing career he was called Professor Dirk… Chuckie Carr? Chuckie is all I remember or “Carr jacked”.
