I'm watching the end of the MIN-UTH game right now, and these guys are even bigger cheerleaders than most commentators. I mean, they're flat-out disingenuous in the way they second-guess all calls against their team. The charge that gave Boozer his 6th foul was clear as day, and it took them multiple reviews of the replay to finally admit the obvious. As someone who deplores the Jazz, it's really annoying to listen to these jokers. Looks like a big win for the MIN might be in store.
GREAT min W for the one the road as bad as the jazz people are the minnesota play by play guy is a total BORE flynn goes in and hits a tough layup with 3 seconds to go and the minnesota guy sounds like he is announcing the game at a funeral. i would rather have homers who get into the game than that guy who sounded sooo somber
All of their commentators admitted Boozer's charging call was legit. Clyde the Buffoon and Bill Worrell wouldn't have done that.
Living in Portland I'm gonna have to say Portland is right up there. Mike and Mike are the 2 biggest homers EVER.
True. The old Mike needs to hang it up. Barrett I can stand but Rice is totally worthless. They shouldn't even be paying him.
I think any city with basically only one major sport will have HUGE homers, so I am not surprised by Utah's and Portland's... But Celtics commentators are horrible!!
warriors commentators are good...not biased at all...they actually give credit to other team's players.
Worst is Portland's announcers in my opinion. Utah's announcers is pretty bad as well simply because it's Utah.
Portland and Boston take the gold.. dont forget i think it was last years game against us the color commentator kept on scolding one of the black refs that called calls against the celts.. kept on saying "come on eric lewis are you kidding me?" eriic lewis does it again.. etc etc. i think it was eric lewis heh i dont really remember the officials name
I don't understand the logic here. being a homer doesn't automatically make you awful. I love Bill and Matt (and even Clyde). I don't want my announcers telling me the harsh truth, I want to be entertained and hear what I like to hear. Now being complete idiots like the Boston guys are is a totally different story. but anyway, I would love to have Van Chancellor back. Best announcer of all time.
