    Sickening and tragic. :(

    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-36890655

At least 15 people have died in a knife attack at a residential care centre for the disabled in the Japanese city of Sagamihara, local media reported.

Another 45 people are reported to have been injured in the attack, which happened in the early hours of Tuesday morning local time.

A suspect - a man in his 20s - has been arrested after handing himself in, police said.

He reportedly went into a police station and said "I did it".

Sagamihara lies west of Tokyo, and is part of Kanagawa Prefecture.

It just shows how much we need common sense knife control.

He had to go to a facility for the disabled to kill 18 innocent people with a knife. I guess if you yourself wanted to kill people you really wouldn't be more effective with a gun then a knife?

You would have made one bad ass Indian when the Europeans came to the American shores.

Speaking of native Americans, we also need common sense bow and arrow laws, have you ever seen "Arrow"? Just unacceptable.

given how guns are a much more effective killing machine than knives, if the guy had a gun you think there would only be 15 dead people? It'd probably be at least a 30/30 split between dead/injured rather than the 15/45 right now. Of course, I know better than to ask you to think critically.

article now says 19 dead and 45 injured. hard to fathom that this guy got to 64 people with nobody (ie. the workers there) being able to stop him

You know, for a while there I thought you were just kind of a dick.

You really are just a bad person though, huh? I mean Christ, who's first reaction to a mass killing of disabled people is glee at being able to show all those silly libtards how wrong they are about gun control?

    Bobby, I guess.

Not in the least, I'm trying to save the people from themselves by severely restricting what they have access to. Anything that could be used to hurt themselves or others should only be possessed by the government unless they get permits. Safety first, you can't have madmen running around with military grade knives.

I apologize for holding you to a standard of decency that you're incapable of living up to. That was unfair of me, and it won't happen again.

Are you suggesting he should have tried to stab a group that was a little more challenging ... say a school full of elementary kids?

Its not a good day for the liberal narrative.

Worse day for the people stabbed to death, but I'm glad you have something to celebrate.

Well, they have one of the most restrictive gun laws in the world. They avg about 0 gun homicides per 100k population per year. Pretty effective.

Atleast he wasn't muslim, would have been much worse.

Would have detonated himself at the end , causing more loss of life instead of turning himself in. Or kept killing until he was killed.

Ideology of hate vs mental illness.

Japan has very strict gun laws and a very, very low murder rate. They also have like 10 gun deaths a year. What's your point?

Too bad he didn't have a gun so he could have easily killed more people. I hope your dream doesn't come true.
