We need two more true superstars on this team and the other ring chasers will sign to follow the ride. I'd love for us to be able to pick up paul george but i just don't see it happening. It's time to uderstand everyone is expendable except for harden.
is that what everyone thnks im saying? true superstars dominate every game in the playoffs? that would explain why barely anyone tries to refute me no im saying all superstars are capable of dominating a whole po series. the seasoned ones, like harden would be, have dominated several. and i mean as a superstar playe ron their team, not before as a 6th man or role player. after kd's first po series vs the lakers, he was well o nhis way to dominatig in the po's in the very next po's vs the nuggets. didnt take him long at all. curry took a little longer, not dominating in his 3rd po's where he won a ring. lebron took his team to the fucin finals in his 2nd po's! harden hasnt dominated a single series as the first option. superstars dont just score a ton and rack up assists, they also do it efficiently. thats the point of being a superstar. no matter what the defense does it cant stop you. harden got shut down by ****in jj redick of all players! he's got mental midget issues. some if it cuz he has to do way too much but its also cuz he's not a first option. it doesnt take this long.
Maybe no one tries to refute you bc it's too difficult to comprehend whatever the hell you're trying to say.
not hard to understand there's no such thing as a superstar who hasnt dominated the po's. if u cant understand that then i dunno what to say. look at lebron, kd, cp3, and curry's playoff series stats, each one, or at least 3-4 years worth for each, then compare them to anyone else thats considered a superstar. huge difference between the two groups. one is efficient, the other isnt.
Difference between the guys you mentioned and Harden is that all those guys have their Robin's and some even have another Batman beside them. You might think, well what does that have to do with efficiency? Um, basically everything. But you can't realize that because you saw Harden in the thread title and immediately came in here to bash him and contributed absolutely nothing relevant to what the OP even asked. Honestly though I don't even know why I bothered responding to a guy who's giving CP3 props for his playoff stats even though he's never reached a conference finals even once in his career lmaooo
I completely agree with this and a bench with borderline All-Stars or actual former All-Stars. It would probably take the following to get past the Warriors or Cavaliers: P.G. - Harden / Beverley S.G. - Butler / Gordon S.F. - George / Ariza P.F. - Horford / Anderson ..C. - Capela / B. Lopez That. Ain't. Gonna. Happen. We can just keep handing the championship to the Warriors or Cavaliers for the foreseeable future.
We need to ship Ryan ****ing Anderson anywhere, as soon as possible, we need to get more defensive players. If we could snag PG and Buttler, i could see us doing damage, otherwise, not so much. Not that Houston could get them, even one of them to begin with, hope Morey can prove me wrong.
Know this regarding Paul George, at the NBA trade deadline the Hawks offered FOUR 1st round draft picks for him and the Pacers said, "no." Just keep that in mind when you think up Paul George trade scenarios.
Wow, i had no idea about that, even though it's obvious that the Rockets don't have much to offer for him.
Probably heavily protected, but I get your point. All the same, if he continues down this path of showing interest in moving on and refuses to commit to Indiana long term, we both know the Pacers are going to face reality at some point.
