Renting your house to James Harden. What could possibly go wrong?

Have you seen the contract? Why do you believe the guy is telling the absolute truth?

Maybe if James Harden paid for a better assistant than he would have saved money in the long run. An assistant that charges 20k more a year would have potentially saved him a lot more in this one situation.

Ultimately, what I'm saying is James Harden is accountable. Whether he knew about the 7 person limit and the surcharge for having more than 7 or not is moot. It was part of the agreement and he is the one responsible.

2 parties, 150k per event equates to 300k. James needs to pay the man. Whether his prices sound reasonable or not doesn't matter, whether Harden or his assistants did their due diligence or not doesn't matter. The information was given beforehand.

This is assuming what the guy said is in the contract is correct.

Lets all not forget our glorious Houston Rockets owner himself stole Landrys by doing some scummy and tricky wording in the contract with the original owners. Hard lesson for them to learn.

You don't rent a mansion for seven people. That',s a unreasonable contract and agreement to take on.
Landry stir fry seafood is a brand name which is hard to put a price tag on. If the rockets owner has concession stands inside Toyota center then like Donald trump "that's his business and free to do whatever "with food services permit!

Hardens contract offered wasn't unreasonable. This guy has a business model that has worked for him. He has TWO pay structures.. If you have under 7 quests at a time you pay 82k for the week. If you have over 7 guests you pay 150k per event. Harden signed the contract stating he wasn't going to have over 7 guests. Harden ended up having over 7 guests and so he is being sued to pay the 150k event fee as stated in the contract.

AS FAR AS TILMAN. I was referencing his shady business practice to steal Landrys. Tilman used his brother-in-law as the company lawyer to fleece the original Landry brothers out of the Landrys family business. That lawyer essentially wrote up documents shifting ownership to Tilman stating along the lines of "in x years Tilman will get it all" They slipped it in to other documents as is customary when working with lawyers and paperwork.. The Landrys family signed unwittingly and when the time came the Landrys folks were evicted from their own business

Thats what I was referencing. There was even a Landrys family member trying to make a documentary about the whole ordeal a while back https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/96967303/fishy-a-kajen-taleref=backertracker&utm_medium=web&utm_source=backerkit

Its concerning seeing guys like PJ drop cash, but I wouldnt be worried about Harden. Hes locked in for a career $338mm+ in bball earnings, will get another $200mm super max after that (if guys like CP got it at that age, he will too). Has a $200mm 10 year deal with Adidas locked in, that can get extended. He's got his summer camps that can bring in a quick $300K for a couple days work, even years after retiring, jeresey sales, Trolli contract, foot locker, previously state farm, and while PJ is paying tons of money for the latest fashion, Harden is actually getting paid to do collabs with well known designers from Y-3. Has no kids, no wife, no alimony, no child support, and calls Texas home where there is no state income on any of this.

Getting married to potentially lose hundreds of millions without doing anything wrong seems like an awful bet to make. Risk exceeds reward here.

And, if it was a woman, folks would be calling her money grubbing and not believe her story.
