Atleast we're not the Knicks. Dolan said no to a big 3. Pathetic

Holy ****. He’s the worst owner in the league by far. He’s going to get death threats over this ****. He better watch his back.

Eh, he has a point here.

At his age Durant is likely never going to be the same with that injury. Knicks are in no rush to build a contender and that's not necessarily a bad thing.

He is a terrible owner though.

    Time will tell...

If Durant can't come back all the way, Dolan might look like the smartest guy in the room........ NAH, that will never be true.

The knicks have been horrible for the longest time. They’re not exactly in any position to be picky. They’ve been selling their fan base on someone like KD to ny. A talent like KD comes along and Then they get cold feet now. Year after year so and so is coming to NY. Lol really.

KD at minimum is still gong to be an all star caliber talent when he returns. We all know those guys get max money. NY getting cold feet like this was just terrible.

Fans should start refusing to pay thousands of dollars for seats. As long as MSG is full, he’s not changing.

Terrible owner but probably the right move to be honest.

Are we gonna act like KD didn’t just tear his Achilles and the next time he steps foot on an NBA court he’ll be 32?

What exactly would he have accomplished in NY?

4 year deal...he misses the 1st year to rehab, finally starts playing the 2nd year, but he won’t be the same, then u got 2 more years left with a 33 and 34 yo KD post-Achilles

they should’ve just stopped their pursuit the minute he got injured

Watching KD on the bench in a suit would be more entertaining than what they’re gonna put out next year.

Max for Durant is a mistake for sure. Can’t they just make the Knicks and Nets one team and give Seattle a team again?

Exactly so the Knicks could wait for KD to rehab. They really have nothing to lose. Players don't want to play in NY. You finally get quality players that want to go there and you say naw?

It's going to be another 5-10 years to get this chance again.

He won't be the same player, correct. But he's 7ft tall with a handle, and he can shoot over literally anyone. He's going to form his game into something like Dirk's, and he'll still be a 25-5-5 guy easy.

    *edit*

And it seems as though the 3 of KD, Kyrie and DJ were a packaged deal all along. He essentially said no to a title contending big 3.

Is Kyrie, post-Achilles KD, and DJ really title contending tho? That’s certainly no Big 3, DJ isn’t some star.

KD, Kyrie and DJ isn't a big 3? I don't know where you're from man but on my planet Kawhi, Spicy P and Lowry just won a title.

That team would have been better than any team they have had in the last couple decades. How choosey do the Knicks get to be after struggling for so long?
