Jalen Green groin injury - Rockets "relieved" after MRi results

We ain't winning regardless if he comes back. I would like him to have more game exp, but might as well wait until we get a new coach and start fresh next season

 

Might as well sit out, he will probably get better being away from Silas.

 

We'll need him back as quickly as possible in order to avoid winning too many games and blowing up the tank.

“The Rockets were “relieved” with the results of an MRI performed on guard Jalen Green, leading to hopes he will not need to miss too much time after the All-Star break, a person informed of the test results said Friday.

The Rockets will not have a better idea on a timetable for Green to return from a strained groin suffered in Wednesday's loss at Oklahoma City until early next week, after several more days of treatment. A more severe groin strain could have forced Green to miss a much larger portion of the 24 games remaining on the Rockets’ schedule.

Injuries such as Green’s can be particularly unpredictable, especially in the early stages, and the Rockets will be especially cautious with Green’s rehab and eventual return. But the MRI confirmed the initial diagnosis of a strain and indicated that if Green does miss games when the season resumes next Friday at Golden State, he would miss considerably less time than the month he missed last season with a strained hamstring.”


Jae’Sean Tate had a ankle injury, nothing to worry about…and ended up missing 35 games. (missed first 4, came back for 3, missed next 31)
Kevin Porter Jr. had a foot injury, nothing to worry about…and has missed 17 games and counting.

Jalen Green is 21 and has so little professional basketball experience before the NBA. I want him to gain as much experience as possible and work on his game so I say bring him back as soon as he's healthy.
