I've become a fan. There's a lot of revisionist history involved with his fights and especially his opponents in an effort to discredit him. People aren't giving him credit for his W's because he "isn't fighting real boxers". Before his fight with Nate, people thought he couldn't hang because Nate is a pro athlete. Then he fought Askren, an MMA champion with a granite chin, and has been in the ring with much more dangerous opponents (Ben's one of my favorites, still salty about that outcome). After back-to-back knockouts, he fights Woodley, a 5-time UFC Champion with KO power...slumps him. Now all of the sudden they're retired bums who don't know how to box. He's fighting increasingly dangerous opponents with each fight...even put half a million bounty on his own consciousness. Kudos. Who would you like to see him box next? How do you think a fight against Tommy Fury goes?
What are you giving him credit for? Outboxing MMA guys? I give him credit for being a credible boxer but none of these guys were boxers why does he not do MMA I would be more impressed if he beat guys who actually were doing what they were good at.
