The last couple years are behind this....They sink nor swim, they just float around long enough to survive....
Regarding the poll, I think he will sign as a backup somewhere, though I did choose Miami. Too late for him to go be a team's opening day starter.
I think Garrard is a good QB, but he and the Jags got robbed with Matt Jones and Reggie Williams. Neither one of those guys lived up to what their potential should have been. That being said, the Teans would have to be truely pathetic to not make the playoffs this year given the possible fact that all other 3 teams in the division may be starting new quarterbacks for the entire season.
Garrard's contract wasn't guaranteed. Who said CJ holding out wasn't OK? He had every right to take the risk and suffer the consequences or reap the rewards.
I think the other AFC South teams should just basically trade quarterbacks. Collins already went to the Colts, so Garrard to the Titans, and then VY should request to be released and go to the Jags. That would be awesome.
He is better than half the starters in the league. It is pretty whack that a team can cut a guy a few weeks before the season starts and stop him from earning a living. If vy can get 5.5 mil for being a backup and Kerry Collins can make 4 mil I sure david could have got 6 mil. Now he is stuck.
It is very unfair to Garrard, who if cut a few weeks ago, could possibly be starting somewhere. He's done very well despite having a fairly weak receiving core.
Yeah, it's a bush league move by the Jags. I hope they bomb hardcore and I hope Garrard goes somewhere he can stick it in their eye before the year is over.
