Amazing how much influence the Democrats have even when the opposition controls all three branches of govt.

They suck at winning elections but they are masters at controlling the 'deep state'.

    Wow... so much wrong here.

First, no one has any idea what charges are being considered, what charges will be brought. The fact that increasingly desperate Trump supporters cling to the new story "but its not collusion" story.

Second, it is amazing that you seem to be suggesting that Trump being charged with obstruction of justice is 'no big thing". Maybe you are way too young, or you were absent in school that day, but Nixon was not charged with breaking into the Watergate hotel, but instead obstruction of justice along with abuse of office and contempt of Congress. So yes, obstruction of justice is very serious accusation and crime. Also funny that the collusion charge you seem now focused on is one that Trump supporters tried to claim wasn't even a crime.

So rather than getting twisted around whether "collusion" is found, proven and charged, you'd be better off allowing the investigation to proceed to find out what if anything was found. Sure seems Trump is guilty of obstruction based on what Comey testified under oath and based on Trump's (and his people's) own actions. There are also many other questionable statements and actions that are being investigated.

Do you live on Mars or something (or maybe Alabama)?

-Papadapolous’ plea deal spells out collusion through an intermediary
-Flynn was directed by Kushner to undermine Obama policy before taking office and remove sanctions on Russia for nothing and coordinated that response with Putin
    -Communications with WikiLeak
-Trump directing RNC platform be altered to pro Russia stance on Ukraine
    -Kushner back channel
-Manafort breaking his bail to communicate with a Russian operative to undermine Mueller’s investigation
-Trump Tower meeting on Sanctions in June
    Etc etc etc

Dude....this is what collusion looks like. At the very least all of this is highly UN American and UN patriotic. But just like how Trump fans are now accepting of pedophilia for the sake of their agenda to be enacted, they are also now more than willing to spit on the flag for the sake of Trump loyalty.

Forget the legality of what you have seen here... what about acting like a F-ing American for a second and not a Kremlin enthusiast.

You guys are either living under a rock, or you are complicit in selling out our country for the sake of a hard right agenda you think our country should have that nobody wants but the far right.

I hate to ramp up the rhetoric, but when someone rationalizes these things against objective evidence, that person is a zealot, a cult member, in effect.

I am slowly realizing that conversation and understanding might not do the job of returning us to decency and fact-based society, not when faced w a cult of this scale.

It's brilliant, an inversion of Jonestown. They drink the daily lies, but They're giving the punch to everyone ELSE.

We talked about that a lot and most of us did not use that oversimplified straw man.

Can we not talk about the current disaster?

It'll take Kansas level terrible legislation (and years to feel its impact) to get any sort of correction. That whole thing was in the Koch Brothers backyard and yet it was so destructive that Koch funded Republican legislators were getting primaried by moderates while Democrats picked up 12 seats in the House there.

But until then, the cult will continue to follow its leaders. The alt right won't be discredited until people can personally feel the effects of their legislative proposals. However, since the federal government is allowed to deficit spend (unlike most states), feeling the pain of bad decisions like these tax cuts is harder to pull off. But at the same time, the Republicans are so overly forward about destroying social programs that they may just inflict direct pain on everyone when they didn't need to.

I am confused, are you comparing Affordable Care Act, which opened up access to insurance to millions of people without to the rich person tax cut program, or to the growing evidence of a president that obstructed justice, laundered money, and colluded with Russians to win an election.

Neither possible comparison seems to make sense, hence my question?

hear me out .. I know this will sound cra cra ... Now that the Republicans have proved that they can actually get something done by both Houses passing a tax bill, they should drop actually sending a tax bill to the President and MOVE THE FUKC ON.

Make sense? I knew it would.

Probably wouldn't say that to a family who can afford healthcare for their child diagnosed with leukemia for a sustained amount of time since they aren't capped within a year.

The number one reason an American family files for bankruptcy is unpaid medical bills. Is it a coincidence that the number of insured are at an all time high while the amount of families filing for bankruptcy has significantly lessened within the time from of the ACA being in effect?

That seems like a positive for me?

States that fully embraced the ACA like Massachusetts seem to be doing fine in terms of healthcare relative to states like Alabama or Texas that refused the ACA federal money for Medicare expansion.

Given the fact that individual states had the ability to undermine the system, and those states were Republican controlled, it is more than justified to say that Republicans had an affect on Obamacare's success.

The manufactured crisis's in the market with things like Marco Rubio's manipulation of the risk corridors.... yeah, Republicans had an affect on Obamacares successes and challenges.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/10/us/politics/marco-rubio-obamacare-affordable-care-act.html

    ..............

Name me one Trump policy failure or scandal that is manufactured by the Democratic party?

On the other hand you have the President of the United States and his cult followers saying that an investigation, started by his own APPOINTED deputy AG & led by a George W. Bush era FBI director, is a liberal witch hunt. You have him blaming Democrats for not repealing ACA, when the GOP has a majority and does not need 1 single Dem vote to pass legislation, and we have the threat of nuclear war with North Korea looming while Trump has no working state department to work out a diplomatic solution... all because Trump wanted to gut the state department for some stupid Nationalist reason.

Yes... all of this mess that Trump has on his plate... totally my fault and the fault of the Democratic party. We all made this happen.

While we are at it... you want to blame me for Trump's self incriminating Tweets too?... totally my fault.

There is no need to rationalize anything cause nothing happened

Democrats need to move forward. There is still no party leader or at least spokesman

Mueller is leading the investigation, not Democrats.

Democrats as of this year have been doing pretty good for themselves.
