He has stretches similar to this every playoff series.

He literally averages 30% from the three point line for his career as a Rocket in the playoffs. His efg% is below league average in the playoffs also.

Harden is out today and doubtful tomorrow. MDA played him the entire 4th qtr yesterday after getting hurt.

So you're saying that 4-5 games out of every 82 he has a poor stretch? Still seems rare and inconsistent. Also you're comparing playoff basketball, which is completely different to regular season basketball.

Harden has a larger negative delta in scoring efficiency from the regular season to the playoffs compared to the vast majority of superstars. The most comparable current "star" who has almost as large of a drop off from regular season to playoffs is DeMar DeRozan. In fact some superstars before him such as our very own Dream INCREASED their scoring efficiency in the playoffs. Absolute mad men guys like Hakeem and Jordan are.

    Harden is clearly not 100%.

It is just mind boggling that he is in the game.

It does the Rockets no good other than increase the chance of an even more serious injury.

There is no other way to put it. We are now at a solid month of James Harden being flat out awful at basketball.

    Sit him down.

It is a regime change, he is letting Westbrook run things and he is much less of a player that way.

    Kind of.
James is definitely trying to be a team player and trying his best to make Westbrook comfortable. And he’s having difficulty not playing his way or the way he’s use to. He’s not causing tension or problems in the locker room.

But of course cyber comes in here with yet another made up claim, now that enough time has passed from the past 1000 he reported that never came to fruition, or were ever proven to be true, and some of you guys are trying to make it seem like it’s a Harden vs Westbrook thing.

Harden really backed himself in a corner with that whole "i dont load manage" mindset.

Its one thing if you're resting to avoid wear and tear, and sitting out because you're legitimately injured, and you dont want to hurt your team.

I just don't think this is an injury. Would Westbrook really call James Harden out for his attitude if he was hurt? Nah. That'd be wrong.

Harden is just unfocused and unmotivated. That is clearly the issue. Yeah, I'm sure he's banged up a bit, but it's clearly not just that.

This season is already lost in terms of going for a high seed.

Start load managing. Let Harden have a week or two off. Let Westbrook have a week or two off. Same with Tucker. Just try to be as healthy and ready to go as possible come April.

Yeah I see it the same way. I think he's definitely banged up, but the regular season has clearly gotten boring for him tbh, he seems disinterested.

You guys have watched enough hoops to where it should be obvious to you.

    It's not a mental thing.

    C'mon, now!

Both offensively, where I guess they thought they could use him as a decoy, and defensively, where he can't move.

The whole organization is accountable here.

It hurts us trying to win this game, and more importantly..unnecessarily puts the season/career of one of the greatest to lace em up at risk.
