His shots are about the same. He's down in FG%. But overall, you used to feel his impact on any given game. Right now, u just don't. Think they need to change that, and if he is still less than he was, it is what it is. But I think they need to make him the focal point and see where it goes. Taking a backseat is not the answer for your top talent.
This all comes down to motivation. At the end of the day - Zion may be an incredibly talented basketball player, but he doesn't really like basketball. Nothing is going to change that - this will string on until Zion can no longer be effective with limited motivation and his career will be over. I am not even mad at him - you cannot make someone have passion for something they don't have passion for. He tries to stay fit, he tries to stay interested - but at the end of the day, he just cares a lot less than just about everyone else on an NBA roster. The Pelicans are not in a position to trade him, so this will just have to play out. Sucks for their fans.
