Is there anything conservatives and liberals both agree on?

Good response. There are quite a few issues on which self identified conservatives and liberals, agree. We like health insurance for all, higher taxes for the wealthy, clean water and air and healthy food.

The problem is when you identify conservatives as a whole with the selfish billionaire type conservatives who tend to set the agenda for conservatism and who don't support higher taxes on themselves, or sensible gun restrictions, or health insurance for all or clean air and water and healthy food since in many cases such things might reduce their personal wealth.

 

Bacon and beer come to mind.
