Luka down. Limping to lockerroom. Rolled ankle from driving through lane, stepping on a foot. He'll get over this, but will his fearless Eurostepping be affected. His ankles aren't as strong as Harden's. Seen Harden do that, what?, a dozen times...
Sick that looks awful but you nvr know how this things go. I feel bad for him...not so much for the Mavs
I thank God every day that we're 8 seasons into Harden's Houston career and he has been spared a major injury.
Luka is aiming for the next shoe deal. Been switching different shoes this year. He should have worn the Harden vol 3 or 4, high performance, good for lateral movement (stepbacks) and ankle support.
btw how about learning to pronounce his name? It's his second season and he's an MVP candidate! I keep hearing american analysts butchering it. It is not Donkey-c . It is Don tsi ts. The first c and the second are pronounced the same way. Ah english..the language that you don't even know how to read what you write.
If you mean the "ch" like the german sound in Ich, no. It is the sound like in cello. The first c and the second c have the same exact sound: Dontsits. ALL south slavic surnames are pronounced like that. Vucevic, Teodosic , Saric, Dragic...Djokovic etc Where you see c => ts not K or [h]
What soft and hard c sound are you talking about? There is only one and only [ts] sound I can hear and come out of my mouth. lol The truth is : Our native language affects the way we hear and speak. That's why i.e korean and japanese people can't understand the difference between L and R which for indoeuropean speakers couldn't be more obvious. When I was learning some Russian- another slavic language- I fell into despair because they had so many different S and ts sounds and letters when I kept hearing the same ts ts ts lol . I don't know how southern slavic compares to that. Ofc the cake goes to danish with their ..20 (!) different vowels. At this point me with my only 5 vowels language is better off accepting defeat than strangling my tongue trying to emulate that. But still no excuse to english speakers calling Doncic a donkey-ts. I had to google it to know what that was. LOL
When you pronounce soft "ć", your toungue goes a bit forward towards the teeth. It's Quite hard to prounounce it correctly right away. Even with a lot of practice, you can hear the difference between someone who learned it later and the native speaker. This video explains it very well, and you only need to watch first 45 seconds:
Both "C" in DonCiC is pronounced as in word "peach", only second one is softer. They are both correctly written like Č (first C) and Ć (second C), but US keyboard doesn't have these letters.
