No man, I refuse to believe that we were a Tucker away from acquiring Butler. How concrete is this?

It's on MDA to adjust the bench combinations but the tip out offensive board that Josh Hart got against rivers that led to the kcp three at end of the 3rd represents the 50 / 50 possessions.

Kcp comes back at the fourth early with another three then LeBron took over.

Alright, man look we can say alot about him, yea hes not a perfect coach but...this is just not true, do you really think he coaches the way he does just for some stupid offensive efficiency ranking?

I would not mind seeing tucker in the high post with the second unit kinda how Draymond green would do with curry with the ball screen.

Maybe it can help cp3 get down hill early in shot clock

Tucker is better than dray green on shooting.

Tucker is a really good bench player being asked to fill a role he's not suited for while logging career highs in minutes played. As much as we lament Harden getting fatigued in the playoffs, it was roleplayers that were logging more minutes than their career average that was causing players like Ariza to miss open looks last series too.

Tucker at the beginning of the season with fresh legs was spot on with his corner 3. It's clear he's been tired since about midway through the season.

The problem with PJ is that he only shoots well from the sides. The league caught on and are taking those shots away especially from the left side. He has to expand his range to be able to hit top of the key 3 point shots. He could also at the risk of getting assassinated by the coaching staff take mid range shot from the top of the key to keep the score board moving.

    Two words- Danuel House

He's essentially PJ's back up but the Rockets are playing games with his contract. We'd rather run PJ into the ground than sign House. This is on Daryl Morey

Yes, I honestly do believe he is focused more on reg season stats than a championship.

Let's be honest - this is his job - and he wants to keep the paychecks rolling in... as is all of our goal concerning our employment...
it's not like he hasn't been fired numerous times - and for any of us getting fired sucks and puts us in uncertainty...
Only 1 team can win the championship in any given year so thats always a gamble... but if you can consistently put up great stats - whatever that may be - ORTG, record, etc... you have a better chance of keeping your job even without that elusive championship...
His game plan is actually rather clever imo - although irritating as hell for a fan that wants a championship....

Look at his history of running his starters into the ground throughout the reg season... having great offensive statistical seasons - only to fizzle out in the playoffs due to injuries or guys running out of gas... if it happened once or twice I'd chalk it up as a learning thing - but this has been reoccurring throughout his career...
I can't believe that someone of his stature is so stupid as to believe the rate he runs his starters is really a good thing for the long haul of winning a championship - it just doesnt make sense..
Unless forced to by injury, he typically refuses to play a third of his roster... he's not willing to lose a few games or let his numbers slip a bit for the sake of actually developing guys... again, I cant believe he is actually so stupid as to not see the long term necessity of developing someone like Gary Clark rather than running a 32 yr old PJ into the ground with the most minutes of his career...

comments like "it's a season to cherish - even without a championship..." what coach says that with a playoff run before them?

I dont think he's stupid... I think he's stubborn and I think he knows what he has to do to keep his job... and thats his focus.

What does last year have to do with this year? We don’t have specialists THIS season. Which is why our defense is so bad.

Your franchise player is injured from carrying the offense all season but you don’t think he needs help?

    Ok lmao.

We need to improve on both ends.. period.

He should come off the bench. I am hoping that with Capela back and healthy that takes a bit of weight off his shoulders as well, because without him he is asked to do a lot, and it probably takes a toll. That's my optimist take.

Chris Paul has been out for alot of games. Thats what the help is to run the offense, like it or not. Yea defensive specialists, which is what we need for the most part, or are Jamaychal Green and Garret Temple known for their offense??? Nah those are defensive first guys which is why Morey brought them, cause the offense wasnt the problem.

Our franchise star hasnt had a full roster for a while and even then, our defense has been consistently awful. Really the defense just needs to improve, our offense is fine.

All teams play 4v5 on offense.

Golden state cringes when draymond shoots.

Is “fine” enough to win a championship this season? Obviously not. Or is your expectation much lower?

We are not playing well enough on either end to win it all.

Gordon, Tucker, Rivers and Green have been garbage offensively. If you expect Harden, Paul and Capela to carry us to a ring in spite of that. You’re crazy.

We need to improve on both ends.

When you consistently blow large leads you are neither playing defense nor scoring the basketball.

If our offense was that elite we wouldn’t blow so many leads off the strength off matching the other team point for point.

Our defense is trash and our offense isn’t playing at a championship level.

We arent winning a championship if the defense doesnt shape up...thats the truth. I want us to win badly, believe me bro.

    Stats say otherwse.

Gordon is not Garbage defensively. They can hit open shots, they are just streaky shooters.

But...we already have one of the best offenses ever??? So....like what more do you want, we also have the worst defense in franchise history.

    Yea I agree there.

tucker looked great tonight. Do us a favor and keep your wrong opinions to yourself. Tucker is essential vs GS, and it showed tonight. He plays so hard.
