The 80's were with out a doubt the best decade of centers: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Moses Malone Jack Sikma Bill Laimbeer Hakeem Olajuwan Ralph Sampson Patrick Ewing David Robinson Kevin Willis Brad Daugherty Robert Parish Bill Cartwright Elvin Hayes Artis Gilmore Mark Eaton Maurice Lucas I think I could add to that list if I was willing to do some research but all of those players played several years during the decade of the 80's and all had all star type production compared to todays standerds for production from an NBA center. Teams today would drool over a center with the ability of any of those guys.
