From Saturday's Orlando Sentinal: Like the Magic, the Rockets didn't make any deals Thursday, but they tried. The Rockets, knowing the Magic's interest in a shot blocker/rebounder, tried to talk the Magic into taking talented forward/center Kelvin Cato, who has been a huge disappointment for them. The Rockets are trying to get under the salary cap this summer, and away from the six-year, $42 million contract they gave Cato last season. The Rockets have had trouble motivating Cato, and they originally asked for Bo Outlaw in return, although they would have taken anyone the Magic wanted to unload. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/basketball/magic/orl-sptmagicnotes022401.story?coll=orl%2Dmagic ------------------

aelliot, stop living in the past, were on a wiining streak baby, and were about to open up a can of woopass on Pippin in the gimps. Awooo - screw the new house aelliot. I still don't understand why we didn't get J.O'neal in that deal ------------------ President of the Steve Francis, Jamal Crawford,Larry Hughes, and Charles Woodson fan club.
Hmmm, that's interesting. Cato would have been a nice fit for the Magic, especially if they are able to get Antonio Davis (Davis has let it me known that he wants to go to Orlando this offseason). A Cato (health and work ethic willing) and Davis frontline would be a HUGE lift to the Magic, especially if Grant Hill gets back to full strength. I still think Cato could be traded to Orlando this offseason. ------------------ Dream a deadly Dream. . .
