If he's willing to accept the vet min and a non-guaranteed spot to make the final 15 man roster I don't see what the problem is.

However, I doubt that is the case. With the Knicks he's much more likely to make the final roster cut. If those are his two options, I would assume that's where he will go.

If we really want to add another piece for low risk, capable back-up duties, there are several FAs still available such as Roddy Beaubois, AJ Price, Xavier Henry or Leandro Barbosa. But don't we already have a ****-load of players on the roster?

Morey thinks he's got an MLB team and has to fill out a 25 man roster

Okay Morey! We get it. You can have pretty much any free agent you want now. No need to over do it.

It's genius. Instead of just pursuing the big name free agents, Morey is signing them ALL so no one else can get any

He would be useful on defense for scratching the opposing players.

With the Knicks, he'd never play. If he came to Houston, he'd have to compete with Reggie Williams, B.J Young, and Francisco Garcia for the backup 2 spot.(Thats if 'Cisco slides to the 2 with the development of Casspi or Covington)

I think he has a better shot at making the final roster. Earl Barron & Jeremy Tyler are unlikely to make the roster in NY. Now with Kenyon Martin signed, & if they plan on getting minutes from Amare, those two are unlikely to be needed.

If I'm Rip's agent, I send him to the spot where he's more likely to get a final roster spot, and allow him to work his way in the rotation as the season progresses. In Houston, he's going to have an uphill battle just to earn a roster spot.

From 00-01 to 09-10, Hamilton shot 43.1% from 10-16 feet, and 41.3% from 16 feet to the three point line.

    Midrange shooters are awesome.

    I dunno... he seems suspicious.

What is he hiding under that mask?
