Maybe a couple of weeks? Is he talking about Correa or both?

This is not good. Not too concerned about Correa, but that does not sound good at all regarding Altuve. Doesn’t sound like Altuve will be back anytime soon.

Interesting that CC was fine yesterday, just a scheduled off day, but felt something when he was getting treatment at his house today.

We’re getting dangerously close to where if Altuve needs a few more weeks then we’re gonna have to start talking about a wasted season. Already missed two weeks and if this turns out to be a couple more weeks without baseball activities then that’s at least a month plus without him. Maybe “wasted season” is too strong, but we’re definitely at the point where it’s doubtful he’ll end up with his typical Altuve numbers (high BA and tons of hits and runs scored). I guess as long as he’s himself going into the postseason that’s all that matters though.

The ol' Dallas Keuchel/Donatas Motiejunas went to bed fine, woke up not so fine. :D

    This sucks!

Still not as bad as the Yankees. It's a near damn miracle what they've done.

    Miguel Andujar
    Didi Gregorius
    Troy Tulowitzki
    Jacoby Ellsbury

if you asked Altuve if he'd be more concerned getting another 200 hit season or another ring, which do you think he'd answer?

I am actually pretty worried about both guys. Reinjuring a surgically repaired knee can be a really bad sign. And Correa’s core injuries (back, ribs) are potentially the start of a chronic issue.

Hopefully they are being extra cautious because they can afford to due to depth and a big division lead. But it wouldn’t shock me if both guys are injury riddled in the future.

I wouldn't read too much into it just yet. Knee rehab is a tricky b**** goddess, and often little setbacks like this are just part of the deal. Could just be soreness in the surrounding muscles, he just got done rehabbing his other leg so there may have been some compensation issues.

Until I hear otherwise, I'm assuming both of these are relatively minor and there's no reason to freak out yet.

Completely agree. I guess I’m kinda thinking of the more irrelevant aspect of his statistical legacy and his future HOF candidacy. I would obviously prefer rings over stats every day of the week, but I always enjoy keeping track of a player’s HOF trajectory throughout their career and Altuve’s has been, and will continue to be, especially interesting.

Honestly hope these injuries are not serious or lingering. Definitely concerned. Time for guys to step up.

She would cause my back, ribs, other parts to be sore enough to have some IL stints.
