Anyone know of some places in the Houston area to rent an indoor basketball court for a couple hours on a weeknight? We've been paying about $45-50 an hour for a couple hours per night. (one night a week)

The place that my friends and I have been renting has apparently closed down.

    Thanks in advance!

Might want to check out some luxury apartments...some of them have nice half courts..maybe they'll rent it out.

Thanks. I'd imagine they would want the full court atmosphere. I'll continue to look into it as well.

    Thanks for the suggestion nonetheless.

Years (decades) ago we used to play at St. Michael's church in the Galleria area. It used to be relatively cheap and we'd rent it for 60-120 minutes. I have no idea if they still rent it out.

I'll give that place a call in a couple minutes. I've been going in circles here. I called another place, which said that someone came by and left a phone number to which those guys rent basketball courts for a living. I called only to find out that it's the place that was going out of business in the first place.

Really? Damn...so many basketball courts. :(

I wish I could buy one off them, and put it in my back yard...

How much on average does each person spend total per month to rent a court?

It's sorta sad, really, because you see so many kids hold practices and games there. I heard it has to do with lease cost and it'll get turned into some gymnastic place?

The keep winning and stay on the court thing is kinda hard when we have a group of 15 people that just wants to hang out and play.

I was gonna suggest this place as well. We're in there every Thursdays for the soccer league. One half of the building is dedicated to the indoor soccer and the other half has 2 full court.

    I am interested!

    Wanted to bump this thread.

Does anyone know of any good areas that have an indoor bball gym to rent out?

My buddies and I (group of 10-15) go to west Houston indoor, but cost is getting too high ($50 an hour) and availability on Saturday or Sundays is never an option.

So... availability on Saturday/Sunday? Anybody know any churches or centers or areas that have to rent out?
