Dude looked aight in Miami when he was actually able to play. He wasn’t even terrible in Houston.

If he still wants to have another shot at rb enba this would be the perfect place to showcase other gm’s that he still has something left in tank. Could help mentor Amen and he’s a vet of 10 years. We could use someone like him off the bench.

He suffered a major injury and probably won't be up to speed much if at all this entire season.

He's tradeable salary, that's it. No need to waste minutes on him even if he were amenable and came back before the deadline.

Is he even gonna be back this season? Dude has torn up both knees now and I think those tendon tears are hard to come back from.

I really don't expect Victor to play in the NBA again. He's suffered two catastrophic knee injuries in the last few years. He's an expiring contract and that's all he is to us.

I’m not sure, I haven’t been able to find anything about his rehab.

If he is better than whoever he replaces on the bench (Holiday or Bullock, not likely with the former) than you absolutely play him. I don’t anticipate that’ll be the case coming off injury but if he joins team and practices better the he gets the minutes. We are trying to win now.development is for the first 60 games of the season. After that, you play your best lineups and best team.

I think his career might be over at this point. It's unfortunate too, but I don't think his knees can handle NBA action at this point

My man is one level above a double amputee. It's very unfortunate but his athletic career is over imo.

If he has no game by the trade deadline, then he is traded, period.
If he does have some game, then keeping him becomes a possibility.

He is only under contract for this year, so the Rockets have to decide what to do with him this year also.
If we do want to keep him, it means offering him a new contract.
What that would be and what he would accept are unknown.

But he would have to have a LOT of game in him for the Rockets to bring him back next year or beyond IMO and that doesnt seem too likely.

Assuming Dipo ever plays in the NBA again, I don't believe coming back from a major knee injury gives him many options. He'll be lucky to land an unguaranteed contract at this point. Offering a new contract would mean a minimum deal.

Giving Olidipo minutes would be wild.

So we turned the wife beater into Steven Adams? That's fantastic!

The unfortunate truth. He was such a fun player to watch in Indiana before the injury, and a cool late bloomer/redemption story
