@ElGee35: If you include 2016, the Golden State Warriors are 116-19 in the last 4 years when Steph Curry plays and Kevin Durant sits.

If you're thinking "that's because of the 73-win season," their win percentage since 2017 is actually slightly higher (34-4). per https://t.co/ttAroRVBfD

I don't disagree he was worse this year. But people are going too far. We are still way better than we were without him in 2017

Yea I don’t care what some games in the regular season and games against a weak WEAK Portland squad in the POs mean. They are NOT better without KEVIN DURANT on their team, they just aren’t sorry. 1 game and a quarter against us doesn’t mean they are better without him.

Even Warriors fans won’t tell you that.

You know they actually won the chip and then 73 games before he got there right?

It's not that he sucks, it's that he doesn't fit in their movement offense.

He needs an iso offense like in Houston. He'd fit better here.

I don't think Harden is the problem at all …. Damn , what more can the guy do ? (Maybe cut down on the turnovers a little).

What I think the problem is …. they don't have the right pieces around him. CP3 was a terrible use of resources. Not that he isn't a great player but he's redundant next to Harden. 30% of your cap space for a ball dominant guard when your MVP has the ball in his hands 90% of the time …. that was a mistake.

Instead of a ball dominant guard next to Harden …. give him a top flight wing player (3/4) who can play off of Harden and thrive along with Capela & Tucker , plug in a great defensive point who can knock down 3's …. and you've got the mix right.

The other problem is GSW - the margin for error against them is slim. Adam Silver never should have allowed Durant to join that team …. it broke the league …. Basketball Reasons?

Yea and that’s why everyone freaked out when Durant joined. Do you realize in three years only 2 teams have pushed them to even 6, us and the Clippers that’s it. That’s insane. Not to mention they LOST with that 73 win team(yes I know their is context there but they still lost). Bottom line is Durant a top 3 player in the world did not make them worse.

You think last year they beat dumps without Durant with our defense, unthinkable.
