I'm hating this NBA Free Agency!!!

    I know this is the first day of free agency, and I know that the Rockets are strapped financially (primarily because of CP's contract), BUT COME ON!!! All we can do is sign Green-House? It feels like I'm watching a rerun of "Groundhog Day" where we are forced to play the waiting game on a star while numerous other teams are making moves! This is the same song and dance every single year! I HATE the fact that Butler didn't even give us a chance to see him FIRST! :mad: Instead, he visits an organization (Heat) that is far from being a true contender while we get to visit with second and third-tier players in Looney and Macgee? If nothing is already in place regarding Butler, then this is pathetic!!!

    Fireworks?? Fireworks?? FIREWORKS??

    My only hope now is that we are being led into a July 4th signing!o_O This would explain the fireworks that were promised. If we don't get Butler by then we are screwed royally!!! There is no way that Capela/Gordon will not be affected by all these rumors/allegations/facts of being shopped around the league to make a Butler acquisition possible!

    this is a little premature BamBam...we have no money

    the guys looking to get paid are getting scooped up quick by teams with the ability to pay them...no one is looking to take discounts or come here for peanuts on the 1st day of free agency...40% of the NBA are free agents this summer, so there can be bargains to be had once the teams with cap space use up all of theirs

    still, they said there will be fireworks, so they had better come through with some explosion

    we we can't do anything until butler makes his decision.

    the rockets spent the waiting time resigning their own guys to contracts that won't prevent butler from coming here but also leaves room to spend on a center if he does come here.

    its a wait and see game.

    i think they meant sparklers when they said fireworks. maybe just the match to light the fireworks
